Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Vincent Balfour Browne could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Scottish ArtThe Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh auction, the work The sheep fence: A stag, hind and sheep in the highlands changed hands for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,389.95) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincent Balfour Browne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'That'S Torn It', which sold at auction in December 2017 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,143.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
