Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Spring Sale, which included the work Ships at dawn by Vilhelm Victor Bille. The auction ended at the price of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,825.13), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Vilhelm Victor Bille have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2007 the work A sailing boat in a gathering storm, a frigate and other boats beyond was auctioned for GBP 3,120.00 (€ 4,707.36).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Spring Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ships at dawn von Vilhelm Victor Bille zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.825,13) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Vilhelm Victor Bille konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2007 die Arbeit A sailing boat in a gathering storm, a frigate and other boats beyond für GBP 3.120,00 (€ 4.707,36) versteigert.
