Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gathering flowers; and By the sea by Viktor Ivanovich Zarubin was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in March 2009. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,347.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Viktor Ivanovich Zarubin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crowd Of Pilgrims in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 133,250.00 (€ 161,109.26).

Die Arbeit Gathering flowers; and By the sea von Viktor Ivanovich Zarubin wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.347,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Viktor Ivanovich Zarubin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crowd Of Pilgrims im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 133.250,00 (€ 161.109,26).
