Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Christies in London held the auction Russian Pictures Including Post-War and Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Returning from the market by Viktor Ivanovich Zarubin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,602.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Viktor Ivanovich Zarubin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crowd Of Pilgrims in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 133,250.00 (€ 161,109.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Pictures Including Post-War and Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Returning from the market von Viktor Ivanovich Zarubin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.602,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Viktor Ivanovich Zarubin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crowd Of Pilgrims im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 133.250,00 (€ 161.109,26).
