Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Fisherman At Twilight by Viktor Ivanovich Zarubin for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 25,692.85). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Viktor Ivanovich Zarubin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Crowd Of Pilgrims in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 133,250.00 (€ 161,109.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
