In the Russian Art auction, the work Kiribeevich And Alena Dmitrievna From The Song Of The Merchant Kalashnikov sold for GBP 39,650.00 (€ 43,865.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Viktor Vasnetsov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Bogatyr in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 1,105,250.00 (€ 1,290,266.20).
