In the Russian Art auction, the work A Bogatyr sold for GBP 1,105,250.00 (€ 1,290,266.20) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500,000.00. This high result makes A Bogatyr the most expensive artwork by Viktor Vasnetsov that we have observed at auctions so far.
