In May 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work French panier De Zinnias by Victoria Fantin-Latour. The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 20,219.99) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Victoria Fantin-Latour - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jeté De Roses Sur Un Entablement, which sold at auction in June 2010 for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 42,380.84).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French panier De Zinnias von Victoria Fantin-Latour zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 20.219,99) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Victoria Fantin-Latour mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jeté De Roses Sur Un Entablement beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für GBP 34.850,00 (€ 42.380,84) versteigert wurde.
