Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Victor Ubah could be acquired at Phillips in March this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,080.00 (€ 993.38) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Ubah achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Sitter in November last year with an auction result of USD 15,120.00 (€ 14,646.90).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Ubah erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Sitter im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 14.646,90).
