Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Victor Salmones could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Danza changed hands for USD 2,400.00 (€ 1,846.44) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Victor Salmones - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Search, which sold at auction in June 2014 for USD 7,188.00 (€ 5,250.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Victor Salmones konnte im Januar 2007 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The House Sale wechselte die Arbeit Danza für USD 2.400,00 (€ 1.846,44) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Victor Salmones mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Search beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für USD 7.188,00 (€ 5.250,55) versteigert wurde.
