Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Contemporary Sale, which included the work Do You Like Proust?; To Live And Feel by Victor Pivovarov. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,851.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Pivovarov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Triptych with a Snake in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 145,250.00 (€ 185,141.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Contemporary Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Do You Like Proust?; To Live And Feel von Victor Pivovarov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.851,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Pivovarov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Triptych with a Snake im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 145.250,00 (€ 185.141,64).
