Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La mañana siguiente by Víctor Patricio de Landaluze was sold in the Latin American Sale auction at Christies in New York in May 2001. The price achieved of USD 23,500.00 (€ 27,794.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Víctor Patricio de Landaluze - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tipos Populares (Soldado Con Mulata), which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 74,500.00 (€ 57,149.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La mañana siguiente von Víctor Patricio de Landaluze wurde im Mai 2001 in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 23.500,00 (€ 27.794,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Víctor Patricio de Landaluze mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tipos Populares (Soldado Con Mulata) beobachtet, die im November 2010 für USD 74.500,00 (€ 57.149,43) versteigert wurde.
