Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Víctor Mira could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in December 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Deck the WallsPrints & Multiples Online auction, the work 8 prints, from Monje frente al Mar (8 works) changed hands for USD 191.25 (€ 156.38) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Víctor Mira achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pajaro. 1986. in December 2004 with an auction result of CHF 19,040.00 (€ 12,322.98).
