Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Remains Series 2 by Vhils was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in Paris in July 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 10,080.00. Admittedly, works by Vhils have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Compro Logo Existo #6 - 2008 in February 2020 with an auction result of EUR 65,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Remains Series 2 von Vhils wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 10.080,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vhils auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Compro Logo Existo #6 - 2008 im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 65.000,00.
