This artwork by Vhils achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in December last year. In the Urban & Pop Contemporary Online auction, the work Rupture - 2017 sold for EUR 2,230.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vhils achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Compro Logo Existo #6 - 2008 in February 2020 with an auction result of EUR 65,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 86 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vhils erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary Online wurde die Arbeit Rupture - 2017 für EUR 2.230,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vhils erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Compro Logo Existo #6 - 2008 im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 65.000,00.
