Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Artcurial held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary Online, which included the work Grit - 2017 by Vhils. The price achieved of EUR 984.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vhils achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Compro Logo Existo #6 - 2008 in February 2020 with an auction result of EUR 65,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grit - 2017 von Vhils zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 984,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vhils erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Compro Logo Existo #6 - 2008 im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 65.000,00.
