This artwork by Ventura Salimbeni achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Rome in December 2002. In the DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI auction, the work Annunciazione sold for EUR 7,440.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ventura Salimbeni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work St Clare Repulsing The Saracens From Assisi in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 193,000.00 (€ 130,045.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ventura Salimbeni erzielte im Dezember 2002 bei Christies in Rom einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI wurde die Arbeit Annunciazione für EUR 7.440,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ventura Salimbeni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit St Clare Repulsing The Saracens From Assisi im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 193.000,00 (€ 130.045,15).
