Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled #18 from The Birthday Party by Vee Speers was auctioned at Phillips in London in November 2016. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,194.48). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vee Speers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled #16 from The Birthday Party, which sold at auction in April 2011 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,494.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled #18 from The Birthday Party von Vee Speers kam im November 2016 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.194,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Vee Speers mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled #16 from The Birthday Party beobachtet, die im April 2011 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.494,37) versteigert wurde.
