Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Vasudeo S. Gaitonde was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in March 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,492.34). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vasudeo S. Gaitonde achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 4,092,500.00 (€ 3,464,403.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Vasudeo S. Gaitonde wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.492,34) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vasudeo S. Gaitonde erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.092.500,00 (€ 3.464.403,62).
