Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of A Girl In Red by Vassyl Khmeluk for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,289.70). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Vassyl Khmeluk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Young Girl in December 2009 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,380.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of A Girl In Red von Vassyl Khmeluk für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.289,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vassyl Khmeluk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Girl im Dezember 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.380,79).
