Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Art and Paintings, which included the work Lemon, Tomato And Mushrooms by Vassyl Khmeluk. The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,601.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vassyl Khmeluk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Young Girl in December 2009 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,380.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Art and Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lemon, Tomato And Mushrooms von Vassyl Khmeluk zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.601,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vassyl Khmeluk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Girl im Dezember 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.380,79).
