Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Landscape With House by Vassyl Khmeluk. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 17,380.46) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Vassyl Khmeluk have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2009 the work Portrait Of A Young Girl was auctioned for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,380.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape With House von Vassyl Khmeluk zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 17.380,46) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Vassyl Khmeluk konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2009 die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Girl für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.380,79) versteigert.
