Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Couple sur le balcon by Vasilis Sperantzas was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in May this year. The price achieved of EUR 10,837.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vasilis Sperantzas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek Lovers By The Harbour, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 17,300.00 (€ 22,055.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Couple sur le balcon von Vasilis Sperantzas wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.837,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Vasilis Sperantzas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek Lovers By The Harbour beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 17.300,00 (€ 22.055,06) versteigert wurde.
