Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek Woman In Front Of A Mirror by Vasilis Sperantzas. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,335.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Vasilis Sperantzas have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work Greek Lovers By The Harbour was auctioned for GBP 17,300.00 (€ 22,055.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek Woman In Front Of A Mirror von Vasilis Sperantzas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.335,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Vasilis Sperantzas konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2008 die Arbeit Greek Lovers By The Harbour für GBP 17.300,00 (€ 22.055,06) versteigert.
