This artwork by Takis achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in November this year. In the Limited Edition auction, the work Signal (series 1 n° 66)- 1968 sold for EUR 14,432.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Double signal in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 187,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Takis erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Limited Edition wurde die Arbeit Signal (series 1 n° 66)- 1968 für EUR 14.432,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Takis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Double signal im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 187.500,00.
