Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Giochi di Strada - 1998 by Valerio Adami. The price achieved of EUR 19,680.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Valerio Adami have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Privacy, Gli Omosessuali (Triptych) in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 187,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Giochi di Strada - 1998 von Valerio Adami zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 19.680,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Valerio Adami auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Privacy, Gli Omosessuali (Triptych) im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 187.500,00.
