Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (N°98121906), 1998 by Valérie Belin was sold in the Photographies auction at Sothebys in Paris in November 2019. The price achieved of EUR 6,875.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Valérie Belin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre 01 10 04 05 (Série Models), 2001 in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 35,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (N°98121906), 1998 von Valérie Belin wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Photographies bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.875,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Valérie Belin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre 01 10 04 05 (Série Models), 2001 im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.000,00.
