The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 6,824.90) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Valentina Kropivnitskaya have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work Russian A Pair Of Drawings, 1965 was auctioned for USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,029.29).
