In the Escape Artists 2.0: The Non-Conformists Online auction, the work Big Tree sold for USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,585.84) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Valentina Kropivnitskaya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Russian A Pair Of Drawings, 1965, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,029.29).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Valentina Kropivnitskaya erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Escape Artists 2.0: The Non-Conformists Online wurde die Arbeit Big Tree für USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.585,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Valentina Kropivnitskaya mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Russian A Pair Of Drawings, 1965 beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.029,29) versteigert wurde.
