Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish florero De Ondárroa (The Ondarroan Flower Vase) by Valentín de Zubiaurre was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2010. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,120.70) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valentín de Zubiaurre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanishcampesinos Vascos (Basque Peasants) in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 72,500.00 (€ 101,518.76).

Die Arbeit Spanish florero De Ondárroa (The Ondarroan Flower Vase) von Valentín de Zubiaurre wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.120,70) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00.
