The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,292.00 (€ 5,409.38), 32% above the upper estimate. Other works by Utagawa Yoshitsuya have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,506.63) in June 2020 for the work Yorimitsu Tries to Capture Hakamadare by Destroying His Magic (Kijutsu o yabutte Yorimitsu Hakamadare o karamen to su).
