The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,803.05), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. Other works by Utagawa Yoshitsuya have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2020 the work Yorimitsu Tries to Capture Hakamadare by Destroying His Magic (Kijutsu o yabutte Yorimitsu Hakamadare o karamen to su) was auctioned for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,506.63).
