Two woodblock prints from the series One-To-One Combats at the Great Battle of Kawanakajima (Kawanakajima ogassen kumitsui tsukushi), comprising:
- Uesugi Kagetora versus Baba Nobuharu, No. 4, signed Ichieisai Yoshitsuya ga, published by Tsujiokaya Bunsuke (Kinshodo), 10th month 1857

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two warrior prints from the series One-To-One Combats at the Great Battle of Kawanakajima by Utagawa Yoshitsuya was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,784.14). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Utagawa Yoshitsuya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yorimitsu Tries to Capture Hakamadare by Destroying His Magic (Kijutsu o yabutte Yorimitsu Hakamadare o karamen to su), which sold at auction in June 2020 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,506.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two warrior prints from the series One-To-One Combats at the Great Battle of Kawanakajima von Utagawa Yoshitsuya kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.784,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Utagawa Yoshitsuya mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Yorimitsu Tries to Capture Hakamadare by Destroying His Magic (Kijutsu o yabutte Yorimitsu Hakamadare o karamen to su) beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.506,63) versteigert wurde.
