Upper estimate price exceeded by 30 %.
In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Via Senato by Umberto Lilloni. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,600.00 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Umberto Lilloni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Castagneto in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 30,550,000.00 (€ 26,200.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Via Senato von Umberto Lilloni zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.600,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Umberto Lilloni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Castagneto im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 30.550.000,00 (€ 26.200,69).
