The work Cascatella a Corniglio by Umberto Lilloni was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in June 2014. It achieved a price of EUR 4,600.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35 %. Admittedly, works by Umberto Lilloni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Castagneto in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 30,550,000.00 (€ 26,200.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cascatella a Corniglio von Umberto Lilloni wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.600,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Umberto Lilloni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Castagneto im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 30.550.000,00 (€ 26.200,69).
