The work Two works: (i) Untitled (fan); (ii) Untitled (Tuxedo without face) by Ulla von Brandenburg was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2013. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,540.17) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ulla von Brandenburg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tanz 1 & Tanz 2 in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 21,930.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Two works: (i) Untitled (fan); (ii) Untitled (Tuxedo without face) von Ulla von Brandenburg kam im April 2013 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.540,17) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ulla von Brandenburg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tanz 1 & Tanz 2 im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.930,00.
