Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Dragster" by Ulf Wahlberg was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 30,000.00 (€ 3,461.18). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ulf Wahlberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "National hot rod association", which sold at auction in May 2012 for SEK 82,000.00 (€ 8,661.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Dragster" von Ulf Wahlberg im November 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 30.000,00 (€ 3.461,18) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ulf Wahlberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "National hot rod association" beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für SEK 82.000,00 (€ 8.661,60) versteigert wurde.
