Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ugo Nespolo could be acquired at Christies in Milan in May 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Pesci changed hands for EUR 5,952.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 6,500.00 – 8,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ugo Nespolo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,324.99).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ugo Nespolo konnte im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Pesci für EUR 5.952,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.500,00 – 8.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ugo Nespolo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.324,99) versteigert wurde.
