In December 2014 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Al MOMA by Ugo Nespolo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,200.00 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ugo Nespolo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,324.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Al MOMA von Ugo Nespolo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.200,00 und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ugo Nespolo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.324,99).
