Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ugo Nespolo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. In the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale auction, the work La moda in vetrina sold for EUR 6,930.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ugo Nespolo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,324.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ugo Nespolo erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale wurde die Arbeit La moda in vetrina für EUR 6.930,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ugo Nespolo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.324,99) versteigert wurde.
