Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Un ovale grigio by Turi Simeti was sold in the Living Contemporary auction at Sothebys in Cologne in June last year. The price achieved of EUR 16,380.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Turi Simeti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bianco in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 194,500.00 (€ 248,348.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Un ovale grigio von Turi Simeti wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Living Contemporary bei Sothebys in Köln versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 16.380,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Turi Simeti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bianco im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 194.500,00 (€ 248.348,40).
