Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Sothebys in Cologne held the auction Living Contemporary, which included the work 2 ovali blu by Turi Simeti. The price achieved of EUR 12,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Turi Simeti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bianco in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 194,500.00 (€ 248,348.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Köln die Auktion Living Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit 2 ovali blu von Turi Simeti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Turi Simeti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bianco im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 194.500,00 (€ 248.348,40).
