Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Turay Mederic achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2021. In the Contemporary Art | London auction, the work without title sold for GBP 2,520.00 (€ 3,005.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Turay Mederic achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Club 27, 2016 in March last year with an auction result of EUR 44,608.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Turay Mederic erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art | London wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 2.520,00 (€ 3.005,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Turay Mederic erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Club 27, 2016 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.608,00.
