The work (i) Yellow Eyes Purple Face (ii) Blue Eyes Yellow Face by Turay Mederic was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2019. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,321.34) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Turay Mederic achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Club 27, 2016 in March last year with an auction result of EUR 44,608.00.

Die Arbeit (i) Yellow Eyes Purple Face (ii) Blue Eyes Yellow Face von Turay Mederic kam im März 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.321,34) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Turay Mederic erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Club 27, 2016 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.608,00.
