Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Village by Tu Ke. The price achieved of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 3,693.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tu Ke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape by the River in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,589.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Village von Tu Ke zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 3.693,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tu Ke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape by the River im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 89.589,13).
