Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tu Ke could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century Chinese Art auction, the work Li River At Sunset changed hands for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,628.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tu Ke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape by the River in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,589.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tu Ke konnte im April 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art wechselte die Arbeit Li River At Sunset für HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.628,28) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tu Ke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape by the River im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 89.589,13).
