Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Landscape Scene Of Thay Pagoda (Hà Tây Province) by Tran Duy. It changed hands for a price of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,412.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Tran Duy have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December last year the work Bambou was auctioned for EUR 7,012.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape Scene Of Thay Pagoda (Hà Tây Province) von Tran Duy zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.412,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tran Duy konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres die Arbeit Bambou für EUR 7.012,50 versteigert.
