Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Bút Tháp Temple In Thuận Thành, Bắc Ninh by Tran Duy. It changed hands for a price of HKD 48,640.00 (€ 5,882.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Tran Duy have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December last year the work Bambou was auctioned for EUR 7,012.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bút Tháp Temple In Thuận Thành, Bắc Ninh von Tran Duy zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 48.640,00 (€ 5.882,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 35.000,00 – 50.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tran Duy konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres die Arbeit Bambou für EUR 7.012,50 versteigert.
