Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Toshimitsu Imai achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May 2021. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Composition sold for EUR 40,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Toshimitsu Imai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Temps Modernes in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 3,680,000.00 (€ 414,607.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Toshimitsu Imai erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Composition für EUR 40.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Toshimitsu Imai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Temps Modernes im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.680.000,00 (€ 414.607,11).
