Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Cannes sur Mer" by Torsten Jovinge was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2009, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 35,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 2,690.88). Admittedly, works by Torsten Jovinge have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View over the Vasa bridge, Stockholm in October 2010 with an auction result of SEK 195,000.00 (€ 20,925.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Cannes sur Mer" von Torsten Jovinge im Oktober 2009 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 35.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 2.690,88) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Torsten Jovinge auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View over the Vasa bridge, Stockholm im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 195.000,00 (€ 20.925,94).
